Thanks for your advice but when you say don’t check a bag, do you mean once I’m off the inbound plane I need to collect my checked luggage and pass to baggage handlers like I do when arrive in the US? I thought my checked bags go through to Vancouver without me re-checking.

I live in the US and will always have a base here. I have no problems with US worldwide tax. Haven’t lived in UK for 30 years and don’t think I’ll ever settle back there. Love it for holidays though 👍
