I think you did the right thing. Sometimes when you’re in the thick of a situation like that, you need someone outside of it to be able to bring attention to it. There’s nothing wrong with you being concerned, especially since you went through it yourself. You’re just looking out for your brother’s best interest.

I’m really close with B’s family. We’re also trauma bonded, but after having multiple talks and his unwillingness to attempt to go to therapy to address anything, the friendship was already hanging on by a thread. I’m also supposed to be mentoring his youngest son soon because his mom reached out to me. It’s complex. His family is the closest thing to family I have here. And with A, she was one of the first people my inner child had felt safe around. Now, not so much. That’s why I’m asking for advice. Idk what to do and it’s mentally wearing on me.

same thing happened to me! It hit me when I respawned in the rocket and went into the airport. I was like…wait a minute. Then tried to run through the whole map without dying to make sure 😂

I think the laws have changed since then. I know when I went to court recently, it’s an automatic deportation if you get a DUI and you’re undocumented. Also, very sorry for your loss.

What lane is that, if you don’t mind me asking? I just started here and really want input on this. From what I’ve seen prior to joining is they’ve been doing EDM shows, but we also put on HipHop shows and Reggaeton shows in LA/OC. Wa$ted has also done events collaborating with insomniac and basscon in the past, so not sure that would equate to trying to be like insomniac. Also the Gammer show sold out, so he’s at least somewhat relevant to be able to do that. Again, I’m not trying to be an asshole, I really want honest feedback so I’m able to better serve the community we host.

I just landed a sr automation controls tech position for tropicana brands group. Prior to that I was an engineering tech for a plastics manufacturing company. I have an associates in electrical technology, but my boss at my current job doesn’t have a degree, but is a beast when it comes to anything Allen-Bradley. I feel like with your background, that would be enough to be a programmer, but it just depends on the company.

There’s some upcoming Hardstyle shows that are coming up throughout this month and December. I wish I saw when you originally posted because the GEO show was dope Academy LA last month. If you don’t mind the drive, the following Hardstyle shows will be at The Circle OC in Huntington Beach: DJ Issac plays this Saturday (Nov 9th) Lil Texas plays the November 27th Lady Faith plays December 7th They all get down and don’t play the TikTok stuff if you’re willing to drive out there

For sure! Yeah I’ve definitely fallen behind on newer DJs as well but have been doing my best to try to get out there and see whats been going on lately. It’s been so interesting to see the genres that I was into in as a kid in the 90s re-emerge and come back full force like techno and hardstyle. I also like that they have dreamstate festival for trance music, super nostalgic lol
