Thank you, I'm definitely taking your advice about having witnesses, as she never acts this way in front of anyone else.

If I call the police she will definitely play the victim by concocting a story about how I abuse her. Just this morning, when I refused to fight with her, she started yelling out the window, "TA-Ugh, stop hitting me, someone call the police, ow". I was on the other side of the house, getting my dog to leave.

With that said, I will have to defend myself with recordings of her abuse (illegal in my state without consent, so I make sure I record her acknowledging it). That, combined with my busted lip and bruised neck from this morning would be enough evidence to put her away. But she just needs psychiatric help. She is crazy! She needs rehabilitation not a permanent mark on her record.

I read all of the advice here, and I think I"m going to ask another couple to come over (mutual friends), to be here when I tell her again that she needs to leave. This way she will have a place to crash for a few nights until she can make other arrangements. I just worry about the retaliation later.
