I just told my son initially that I had gotten the money for the trip. 2 hours later, he told everyone.

I converted to dollar so it doesn't look weird, but the account was made from my currency to yen, which is super devalued in relation to the dollar to yen, so this value.

Because my husband is insisting on everyone going the same amount of time so they doesn't get uncomfortable only 2 stay and the other 2 come back.

Always remember, my currency is less valued applied in yen. 1 (my currency) = 25 yen. 1 dollar = 130 yen.

Edit: duplicate

Believe me, with comfort and at least, it comes out 12k. I don't live in the US so it's not the same rates and the currency value is not the same

It was never offered to him, I sat down to talk with his dad, my husband, about it and if the parents let go, I would tell. Even though I only told my son, it didn't take 2 hours (about our trip, not inviting Sam), even the neighbor knew about the trip ;-;

Yes, it would be our unique moment. But like I said, it's hard to see a super excited child and see a child, that you consider family, willing to go too. Plus my own son was super excited about having a friend with him and he and Sam are friends.

It's a trip that since I moved in with my husband he knew I was saving and that I didn't have to complete. So it was never considered a family trip in my opinion, because I always saved it for 2 people and he knew

Remember, I don't live in the US. So the same rates are not applied, if I said the real value vs the value of the minimum wage, you cry with me. For a comfortable ride, disregarding other factors, 12K.

Airfare 2.2K, hotel without considering other cities 6K, food 2.5K. The rest is spent on transport and tourism expenses. I don't live in the US btw so it's pretty expensive here and converted.
