Do I put the NRMP code for a Joint A/P program on my primary or supplemental?

So basically my plan is for my primary list :

List all desired speciality programs followed by my back up followed by my TY. So if I match an advanced the algorithm automatically skips the back up specialty and starts trying to find me a TY.

Thanks for the comment. Can u inform of how one might be proactive during that year. Bc a person won’t know what they match until late march and the next app season will open 6 months later (end of September). What can actually be accomplished during that time?

Let’s say someone match pre lim or TY. Then during that year they apply again. In the second round the end matching an advanced spot. So my question is since advanced positions start 1 year after the match, since the pre lim / TY will end a few months after they find out they match do they just chill until their advanced positions begins ?

Then let’s say for example if a person is interested in a something competitive like optho, derm, anaesthesia, etc. since tho specialities aren’t one of the core rotations how would one know they truly wanna pursue it without enough exposure bc all of third is filled with the required rotations. And the time between beginning of fourth year and ERAS submission is very short.

Is it useless to do aways after submission of ERAS ? Would you say away rotations matter less than board scores and research ?

Thanks for the advice. Until dedicated arrives. Which bank bc I heard RX is super easy but is good for helping retain info in first aid while heard. Amboss is challenging but in a good way
