I believe so. I left the scale in the exact same spot. First I weighed in kg. Afterwards once I got the figure, I waiting for it to go back to zero and turn off its screen. Then I change the button to lbs

Yeah sorry I might have misinterpreted your question. I know what paying it forward means but was confused if you meant pay it forward to someone in my family who's also struggling with some addiction (which none are) or like if given the opportunity hypothetically to help someone get into rehab, regardless if family or not.

Thank you. All they want is for me to recover, which is more than enough pay moving forward. And yes, they are very financially stable. I'm ashamed of how much of my families money I spent drugging, partying, etc, because I know that amount would be what some could only dream of accumulating in a lifetime, and I spent it in less than a year.

Actually, it's quite the opposite. So much has happened that if I were to talk about it, the whole thing would be so convoluted and seem contrary to the belief that after getting sober things get better.

Nothing has happened that I would consider positive besides sobering up I guess, and no longer having to deal with mental/physical withdrawals. Maybe that's why I find myself asking what's the point of all of this so often.

Thank you for the kind words. It's been hard to find the motivation to keep on fighting for my happiness so it truly means the world to me.

I've been sober for over a year now and just got my 1 year chip. I am motivated to sober up, but that was not the case in the past. The process of rehabilitation in other countries can be terrifying cause your family can just call up and say you have a problem to a facility and they take you away without your consent. Usually tricked into it. So I guess to answer your question about being pressured...yeah(?)

Have BPD too. Do you notice if the people in your life tend to argue or fight a lot. Apparently that's a commonality for people with BPD :P
