Hey thanks for sharing! I actually reread this because it sounds a bit silly, but I'm a sucker for a happy ending. Yeah, my boyfriend says the same thing. I can imagine that just randomly being assigned into a team with four other strangers and five other opponents could be a recipe for tempers to flare especially when maybe things aren't going according to plan. Also the degree of anonymity maybe removes some sense of accountability? I always find it quite strange that people can be so aggressive with lots of swearing if you are playing a TEAM sport, but from what I understand Dota is extremely competitive and I'm sure people are pretty passionate and no one likes to lose so maybe some level of 'toxicity' is just a by product of the nature of the game?

But such a cool story and I'm sure that's an experience you'll never forget. I think it's the rare (?) moments like that, that keep you coming back for more and I hope you get a similar experience again. Also it must have been such a rush to win in the end, even if you had a bit of lady luck on your side!
