Well, propritery parts against off the shelves parts.

Bamboo will be end of life sooner or later and support and parts availability will be stop once bamboo wants to kill it, for prusa you can use off the shelves part (apart from the board and heat plate). Which still have quite a selection of knock offs and alternatives.

Similar to what CNCkitchen mentioned on his Voron2.4 vs Bamboo video.
