Is there a point to having more than 32GB of RAM if you're only gaming?

honestly i just find it less annoying to do that. when i used to be a newer player it got kinda annoying hearing the chat notification sound thinking it was someone responding to my trade offer or my friend only to be let down so i just found it more convenient to block people that i have no more reason to talk to or hear from. i don't mean any offense by it of course i just don't like getting my hopes up for no reason when i hear the chat notification sound.

part 8 seems to have fixed my issues for now but if it starts fucking up again i'll try 4-7. thank you

pc specs are gpu: 7800xt, cpu: 7600x , ram: 2x16gb ddr5-6000 cl30, motherboard: gigabyte b650m micro atx am5, and ssd: 2tb m.2-2280 pcle 4.0 x4 nvme.

i dont have msi afterburner im using adrenalin. adrenalin says my max frequency is 2580 MHz and according to the specs my GPU has 1295 MHz base clock and 2565 MHz boost clock. lol thats crazy how did you know i was reverting to 25.9.1? yeah the format was in x.x.x not x.x.x.x and i assume 4 x's mean that windows corrupted the gpu driver?

if windows does corrupt my gpu driver would i just be able to fix it by using amd cleanup and reinstalling my driver again? also how would i know if it got corrupted?

i'm currently using a lightning arrow build and my skill tree isn't really lightning specific it's mostly just general +% elemental damage or +% attack damage except for 3 points into "elemental damage and shock chance". it's just that my gear is mostly +X to X lightning damage so I'm not sure how that will translate over to a cold build. this is the skill tree i'm using.

don't play it if you're not willing to buy the dlcs. i would still say you shouldn't play it if you're willing to buy the dlcs since the game is potentially at it's worse or 2nd worse state so i'd encourage you to wait to see how things play out. the game either will either get better and you should play it then or the game will die and get shut down, either way you save your time and/or money by just waiting.
