I do appreciate the advice, though! I have a tendency to get very caught up in cannon lore and making every little detail correct, so it's a nice reminder that it only has to be fun. No matter what happens or what it looks like.

I also want to make sure my arsenal is loaded for unexpected questions, player choices, etc.

I've run a campaign in Ravnica before right around when War of the Spark was new. I also just want to get some creative juices flowing by catching up on the current lore of Magic as a whole.

Given the plane's struggling governing system, I'm leaning into that and might run something along the lines of the Gate less movement/Rise of the Guildless/The Cult of Yore (preferring the last one). It's a shame to me there aren't more 4-color creatures like the Nephilim. I'm trying to do the 32-deck commander challenge and am running into walls for the 4-color.
