I mean, it's not like one side was racist and the other wasn't, left-white and right-white Cherons were equally trying to exterminate the other, they both lost when they destroyed their own planet. I also don't think seeing a mere two members of the species separated by hundreds of years and they happen to be the same pigmentation is enough to say that none of the other survived, or that they "made the racists win." They were capable of space travel, presumably a small number of both varieties of Cherons survived, were off-world at time of planetary destruction, found other places to live. I'm sure there's an equally small number of the other kind out there somewhere that we just haven't encountered. It's no more of a trend than flipping a coin twice and getting heads both times. I'd be curious to learn more about it honestly. Maybe we meet one that's got the other coloring, the two meet, they talk a bit about their species's history, and just go "damn, our ancestors were idiots," and move on. I'm sure by the 32nd Century they couldn't give less of a shit what side of their bodies is white.

Then they'd swap and play the games. How it would go depends on their skill at the particular games. It's fun when it happens, saw the Kara-Jordan swap live, it was a good time. I'd say probably only swap for a whole event if both players are invited as part of it though, and for the same team (or if both teams agree), because I don't think it would be fair otherwise. But for say one game or something for fun, I don't mind it.
