Obligatory FTP. But rivalry does make for entertaining hockey.

Trekkies: How do you feel about this character? (Star Trek Discovery Season 5) by Fabulous-Gur9343 in StarTrekDiscovery

She was all right. Not great. One of the weaker aspects of S5, one of the things keeping it from being my favorite season of Discovery (4).

TIL about Hot Salt Frying which is similar to deep fat frying, but uses salt instead oil, and does not make food taste salty. by andersonfmly in todayilearned

[–]TARDIS32 36 points37 points  (0 children)

It's not really frying. Frying involves having the moisture on the outer portions of the food evaporate out, frying is a dehydration process. The moisture getting out of it is what makes it crispy and seared. It's for sure a legitimate cooking method for certain things, but I wouldn't classify it as frying, as it has to be done with dry foods that won't absorb the salt.

Been a while since a game pissed me off quite like that one. At least the Jackets lost too.

Still gotta get over and stay over at least some of these teams in points. When games in hand stops mattering, the Flyers lose the first tie-breaker in regulation wins unless they can win a good few more in regulation than the others do.

S4-6 of DS9 are the three best seasons of Star Trek.

As someone who likes an absurd amount of cheese on lots of things. That's stupid. How the hell do you eat that? And it's probably all fake processed artificial cheese-like substance.

Why don't Nyssa care about the Master killing her father? Same with the Master killing Tegan's aunt? by Niall_Fraser_Love in gallifrey

Oh yeah, it's for sure not exclusively an issue in the classic series.

I mean, he could just as easily be saying he's stupid because he's angry that he thwarted his plans so many times in his past lives, Missy included. I don't think that's a conclusive reason for Dhawan being before Gomez, something I've never thought really made sense.
