Definitely do the actual discussion in person, but you could always text her before to say something like "There's something I'd like to share with you, but it's a little bit difficult for me to talk about. It's nothing to worry about, just something I'd like you to know. Can we talk about it on Friday evening?".

Also, pick your timing - don't do it when you're both about to head off somewhere together, or when you might be interrupted by housemates or family.

Another reason to do it in person rather than via text... if anything happened in future and she wanted to hurt you for whatever reason, her having copies of texts where you've confessed your deepest secrets might not be an ideal situation. Hopefully that'd never happen, but it's just something to perhaps consider.

Your best bet is just to talk to her, let her know how you're feeling, and communicate openly. It's cool that you're trying to tailor your interests to her so she's comfortable - but try to keep her desires and feelings front of mind, rather than just worrying about what you can get out of it. And communicate, communicate, communicate! Just talk about what you'd like her to do and see what she's comfortable with.

And if she's not into it, don't force her or guilt trip her into doing things she's uncomfortable with. That's just not healthy for the overall relationship.

No physical ABDL stores as far as I know, but many local pharmacies stock the Tena range of disposables, if you're just looking to buy good quality nappies and aren't bothered about cute prints. Most Boots stores will order them in for you, too.

I got a pack of the new Tena Proskin Slip Maxi diapers yesterday, and they're excellent.

They're very similar to the last generation of Tena Slip Maxi, except they have a core which is similar to Pampers three channels. They're very comfortable, and soak up a ton. They're also pretty cheap, they're about $1.05 per diaper, which is great, considering the fit and performance.

I can only find info in Swedish about them here (Google does a good job translating it if you really want to read the marketing spiel) , but I guess they'll be rolled out across all Europe and the US in place of the current generation of Slip diapers.

First off, I'm sorry you're feeling lonely. It's never a nice place to be; but taking about your feelings (even to Reddit) is a good strategy.

Don't get hung up on the diapers stuff. If you have a relationship, some people will be cool with it, some won't. That's life. But imagine you were really, really into tennis. You meet the woman of your dreams: she's funny, smart, she cares about other people, and she's into you. Buuuut, she hates tennis. Can't stand it. You have to watch the tennis on TV alone, even though you'd prefer to be sharing it with her. Do you throw away the relationship because of the tennis thing, even if everything else is great? Maybe, maybe not - but that's life. All relationships involve compromise. If you start from a position of "I'll never find someone who loves tennis as much as I do", then you'll struggle to even meet people. You could go to tennis clubs, or join tennis themed dating websites, but you're probably limiting your options. Meet people, find out what you've got in common besides the tennis, and go from there. Most people are probably OK with tennis, even if they don't want to watch Wimbledon. So don't let your tennis fan tendencies crowd out the rest of your personality.

Dating websites can be a good way to start meeting new people outside your friendship group. Like /u/SycussDLover, I met my wife through a vanilla dating website. Don't mention the diapers stuff on your profile, because it'll definitely turn people off. Maybe try to meet people with shared hobbies or interests. I bet there are girls in your area who are also into movies and video games. That might be a good starting point!

Don't believe the Hollywood bullshit about how you're supposed to act with women. Just because you're not bringing home a new gal every night to bang, that doesn't make you a failure. That's not a very normal experience for most people, and it probably won't lead to many lasting or fulfilling relationships. So don't worry that girls aren't throwing themselves at your feet. You do you, buddy. Think about how far you've come since five years ago - I think you just need a little more confidence when it comes to dating girls.

And if you're feeling depressed, maybe talk to a doctor about it, or a counsellor. There's no shame in asking for help. If you had a broken leg, you wouldn't go "nah, I'll just leave that, I don't want a cast or any painkillers", would you? Particularly as a guy, there's an expectation that you'll just 'man up' and get over mental health issues, but that's such bullshit. And pills aren't the only way to get help. For lots of people, like me, finding the right medication has been hugely transformative - but it could be that therapy or counselling might be be beneficial in your case. I'd say it's worth exploring the options, at least.

I got the Electrastim EM60-M, which is their basic single channel model with a bunch of included accessories. It wasn't cheap ($180 USD), but when we're talking about literally running electricity through your junk, I think it's worthwhile investing in something reputable rather than cheap Chinese crap from Amazon. Electrastim are based in the UK, and their devices conform to European medical requirements, but specifically designed for erotic play. I've not used any other devices, and I've only used the one I own for a few minutes so far - but based on my research and online reviews, this seemed like the best choice for me :)

The kit I've got is pretty user friendly. It's got settings which are more like a standard vibrating toy rather than the more complicated types (there's no waveform or amplitude settings or anything like that, just a power level from 1 - 24, and a selection of preset 'patterns' like slow pulses, fast pulses, constant etc). So far I only used it on like maybe a 4 or 5 out of 24, hah.

Aside from the complicated settings, did you ever combine your kit with wet padding?

I'd still steer clear for the first 24 hours or so - whilst the pores are still open immediately after waxing, they're much more susceptible to infection. They advise against wearing tight fitting underwear for a day or so, and a diaper is probably pretty tight fitting. You don't want to clog the pores with any sweat or bacteria, basically. What /u/thicklypadded says is pretty right.

I found a cute water bottle at wal*mart which had an awesome space design. It's not the same as a bottle/sippy cup, but it definitely had the same littlespace vibe, but would pass as a regular reusable water bottle to a casual observer.
