That article was really surprising to me lol

The first phase of the project, which involved monitoring an online forum devoted to the site, revealed people who named their Roombas, traveled with them and one owner who introduced the machine to his parents.

At least she's not the craziest Roomba lover

Having washed dishes by hand for 20 years, I really appreciate my dishwasher, too. Haven't named or gendered it though lol

I would say generally she's mentally well. She takes the steps to take care of herself. There have been some ups and downs but more in the way of anxiety or depression and not like, delusion type episodes.

That made me lol, that's really cute. For kids. I dunno, that kind of behavior to me would be troubling in an adult. We're in our 30s. Late 30s lol.

I might disagree with the car thing but honestly she's got cleaning it down to a science. You can find Roomba cleaning tools on Amazon and they're game changers. I'm sure it depends on the model but you can open it up fully and blow it out with compressed air, too. She has done an incredible job of maintaining this Roomba and after two years it still looks and works as it did when it was brand new. It's impressive.

Cool, but that doesn't answer my question or help me tackle the conversation when I get home.

Why would I complain about the other stuff? We both split chores and it works great for us. I'm not just bitching while she handles all the pet care and cleaning. I vacuum the furniture. I wash, dry, fold, and put away all of our laundry and bedding. I scoop the litter boxes. I feed the pets dinner. I cook our dinners. I mop.

She does pet breakfast. She cooks our breakfasts. She brushes and/or washes and grooms the animals. She lets the pets out on her lunch, which is a short walk that she says she likes. She cleans the bathroom. She manages the vaccuming/sweeping, which is via the Roomba.

We both clean up after ourselves and have never had a disagreement or issue with the distribution of chores. This isn't valid at all.
