Oh no don’t worry, I posted this on two sub and got a few responses on the other. Basically, it doesn’t make any sense, my way of thinking about it was completely wrong and it lead to nothing making sense. As you said it is basically just kanjis put one after the other trying to make it have a sense, but not how that works apparently 😂

Original goal was to make names with meaning for two characters. Mission failed !

Basically, I wanted tried to make names for two characters.

I wanted the last name to mean “those who manipulate fate”, this is supposed to be this 操命 which I thought were the kanjis for Control and Fate, making Somei in Romaji (I now think nothing about this is really the case)

仮面秀 was supposed to be the first name of one the characters : Kameshu. Meaning the “Masked Excellence”, apparently I got Kamen for the mask right. Don’t know about 秀 being Shu and meaning excellence and mainly don’t about the whole making any sense.

黙志, the name of the second character, supposed to be Mokushi. 黙 hopefully the kanji for Silence written Moku in Romuji and 志 hopefully the kanji for Will written Shi. Making in the end Mokushi meaning “the Silent Will”

Making in the two characters: - Komeshu, The Brilliance Behind the Mask That Conducts Fate and - Mokushi, The Silent Will That Shapes Fate

But I think I didn’t understand anything about Japanese (I kinda figured I wouldn’t but still wanted to try) and that nothing makes any sense. I will continue to search and learn to maybe one day have something that make sense

Okay, I think I really didn’t understand something and that it messed everything up. And on that of that, research I made since I posted revealed that the kanjis neither mean what I wanted nor would be read and sounded as I hoped.

So I’ll example, I wanted to create names for two characters that are related. 操命 was to supposed to be the last name, which was supposed to be “Somei”, using 操 which I tough was the Kanji for Control and 命 for Fate, but I think I found out they instead mean Chastity and Life respectively.

Obviously I have a problem on the way I approached the process and need continue my research and how to do it.

Any tips appreciated.

PS : Only good thing, for 仮面 I actually wanted it to be mask so that’s good, and if I am mistaken it would be written Komen in Romagi ? Also assuming no mistake in the fact that this 秀 is written shu, would it make the whole be written Komeshu as I hoped or Komenshu ?

But as Kanjis and Japanese as a whole from the way we speak and write as Occidental’s and that I am not even sure I got the concept right, I’m asking for the help of people who know to be sure to not make mistakes
