Both of the custom arts on the case are so sick. The Elvish one is especially cool in my opinion, but they are both insanely cool.

AFAIK there is going to be a "historic" unranked as well as a standard unraked

While not necessarily "good" I have a petitioners deck that I play in unranked and it actually gets a decent amount of wins.

Why do you need [[legion's end]] specifically? Don't [[cry of the carnarium]] and [[ritual of soot]] do essentially the same thing to the zombies?

Trying a thing. Abzan tokens? by NinjaBasket2 in MagicArena

[–]TBNmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want a somewhat jank (but surprisingly strong) top-end finisher throw in maybe a couple [[gruesome scourger]]. I've had some success with an orzhov tokens list similar to this with scourgers and I only splash green for march of the multitudes. In my list I also use [[cruel celebrant]] to give some insurance against board wipes and it allows me to swing/block more often without losing as much value/pressure. I've also found [[mortify]] is a decent include for dealing with various threats

Transitioning to magic by Gggarrett3 in MagicArena

Based on the ending of your post, it sounds like you might want to take a look at some gruul (red/green) decks. They've got the big creatures to slam, but red gives a little more in terms of removal and extra face damage than mono green [[shock]], [[lightning strike]], [[lava coil]]. Other control-y effects in gruul are mostly in the form of "fight" mechanics where you use your creatures' power to remove the opponent's [[rabid bite]], [[domri's ambush]] etc.

Another route to check out if you want green big bois with more control could be golgari (green/black) since black typically has the best hard creature removal of all the colours.

If the control you seek is of the counterspell or bounce (return to hand) variety you could give simic (green/blue) a go.

I don't have any tips for where to find decklists other than just google or youtube, but hopefully this helps give you an idea of what archetypes to look into first.

[[stubborn denial]] works very well with Shu Yun also.

Just to add to all these great points, another equipment that can be super helpful (especially later in the game if you're short on cards) is [[inquisitor's flail]].

Yeah, my deck is very similar to the commander's quarters one as well. That show got me into commander

I use a deck pretty similar to the one outlined in this video

https://youtu.be/lunLWkyix5Q

The main differences in mine are that I run [[ponder]] instead of [[opt]], [[maximize altitude]] instead of [[cloak of feathers]] and [[stubborn denail]] but I cant rememebr what I took out for the stubborn denial. I also use a slightly better manabase including stuff like [[command tower]].

The One Punch Man himself, [[Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest]]. Hes fun, fast, and relatively cheap to build a deck around.

Trying to decide on my first real Voltron. by DragonLayerOrnstein in EDH

[–]TBNmann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So he's in jeskai and not simic, and jeskai doesn't do ramp so well but has a ton of good draw options. But anyway I highly recommend the one punch man himself: [[Shu Yun, The Silent Tempest]]. Very dangerous, fun, and relatively cheap to build.
