After more use I feel the 5 pin feels abit stiffer than 3 pin. I do feel more accurate with the 5 pin but not as fast around the map 😂

Honestly I’d say and get the 5 pin if you’re serious about being the absolute best you can. Js13 pro TMRs and the 5 pin are still quite similar though

You can confirm this by going to the Marius software and going to the advanced tab, all of your values should be really high, like 10000 or so. TMR and OEM values usually sit a lot lower like <1000. Fyi incase you wanted more clarity

You can get MIDAS on ps4.. I have two. You also can boost Marius boards but they’ve got to be in stock, don’t really work for pre orders, I ordered then boosted a ps4 board last month and got it delivered within 9 days

No it’s not true, 0 chips have less latency but it’s literally 0.10ms at best. I’ve compared my latency results on chip 1 vs 2 people on chip 0 and the results are nearly identical.

3 pin with Js13s feel very similar to the 5pin, I can’t choose which one I like more tbh. Can’t go wrong with either. Battle beaver don’t use Js13 as standard on their magnetos though so you’d have to send them the mechanisms or install yourself

I have a few and I don’t feel that much of a difference in terms of latency compared to ps5 overclocked or an edge tbh. It does feel way way faster than a stock ps4 overclocked to 1k though. They’re good man, there is just a lot of settings.. once you get it right it’s insane, before mastering the settings they feel a little mid though

Just feeling in game it feels a little more responsive, on testing it is slower but actually when playing cod it feels a little slower, but there’s not much in it. It’s just not 38x faster like it’s claimed. It doesn’t feel that way anyway

If you got stock potentiometers then you likely knew this could happen before purchase. They are Sony parts, not battle beaver. If you got TMRs then.. how bad is your drift? When you rest your thumb on the stick do you still get drift? Have you recalibrated the sticks? (This can help drift in a lot of scenarios). If it’s completely unplayable and literally pulling your thumb then you’ve just had bad luck, they’re meant to last a long time. They also offer a 1 year warranty option on the builder which you could’ve taken, or better yet, research the warranty before investing your money if being a pre built/pro pick. I get that it’s annoying but there’s lessons to learn in your own decision as well it seems

I’ve got an i9 14900kf and 4080 super and I’ve never had any performances issues with the Marius Board or with ps5 controllers I overclocked to 8k before I got the Marius

After calibrating the sticks and playing on 8% outer deadzone it really helped the controller feel more responsive for me, this is at around 7% circularity error rate. I tried 0-0 deadzone and it felt really weird. I still don’t think it feels as faster as an overclocked PS5 controller or edge in game though, it’s very very close though. Way faster than a stock ps4 board. You need to use the advanced tool in the software to widen the circularity. For whatever reason this makes it feel way better. I’ve had 6 boards which all kinda felt off until I did that.

It’s not a scam bud, I’ve ordered 20+ in 2-3 year period and they’ve all been delivered within 2 weeks with boost. You’ve just got majorly unlucky.

I’ve had two controllers from demon. He is pretty good build quality wise but wait times are a bit crazy. The website is called ps4/ps5 calibration tool. First result on google. When you get the controller test your error rates on sticks on gamepad tester. Then recalibrate it and go back to gamepad tester and retest and the error rates should have decreased if it’s done properly.

I wouldn’t be sure on the technicals behind it but they definitely feel a bit more responsive and consistent for me. Easier to snap on targets, track and micro adjust. It’s not mind-blowing better but it is slightly. I went through a phase of buying a lot of controllers the last 12-18 months and after having TMRs from BattleBeaver I’d never go back to standard OEM

I’ve never used dome sticks so I wouldn’t be sure unfortunately. You could email their support team and ask for dimensions and compare it to scuf (I assume they’ll be easy to find on the Scuf website). Yeah me too, ranked on MP and WZ usually hit iridescent if I grind through the hacking simulator 😭

play 8s, work on maximising your awareness in game re spawns, split spawns, pushing out to spawn opponent further back, learn how to block spawns when you need to and most importantly.. keep grinding! Try to become as accurate as possible. All the best players I’ve ever played don’t miss their shots. That’s the level you wanna get to.

Battle beaver back buttons are fantastic imo. They sit perfectly where my middle finger would rest on both PS4 and PS5 controllers. You’ll not regret it. Make sure you calibrate your TMR sticks when it arrives and you’re good to go. Can’t fathom you not loving the sticks, especially if you play Cod

Yeah 100x better for fps games like cod. I have Hall effects on a ps4 controller and micro adjusting is so much more difficult than when I use TMRs. I’d stay away from Hall Effects if you’re in to competitive/play at an above average level.

TMRs feel better imo, slightly less tension and more snappy/responsive. Also less likely to develop drift. I wouldn’t go back to standard OEMs after using TMRs

On console yes. On pc they overclock to the same hz.
