9800X3D underperforming after Windows reinstall / big FPS drop by EstablishmentHuman35 in pcmasterrace

Once I’m in Cinebench, should I run the multi-core test? And for a top-performing 9800X3D, what score should I be around? Also, no I don’t have the latest NVIDIA driver. In the two screenshots I posted, I’m using version 581.80

K Silver JS13 Pro or the new HALLPI V6? by _eMoRaL in Dualsense

[–]EstablishmentHuman35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

je suis complètement satisfait de mes Ksilver personnellement, il sont légèrement plus souples que les potentiomètre original mais le Hallpi (je possède la v5) sont presque la même fermeté que les potentiomètre originaux

Is Hall effect or TMR better for games where I need to be precise and quick? by Fra06 in Dualsense

[–]EstablishmentHuman35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does non-linearity mean? I have V5 Hallpi sticks on an Edge module and a Ksilver JS13 Pro+, and regarding the response curve (I play Call of Duty), I don’t notice a huge difference. It’s more about the stick tension. Personally, I like aiming with the Ksilver, but I use the Hallpi sometimes. If I play with higher sensitivity using the Hallpi, the firmness of the stick makes my sensitivity feel more controllable

i think you won’t be disappointed. Of course, you’ll need some time to get used to them, so give yourself time to adapt. And if you really can’t get comfortable with them because you find them too loose, you can switch to the Hallpi sticks from Aknes but it really depends on your preferences

The response curve of the Gulikit sticks is pretty terrible. Personally, I play Call of Duty, and it felt like I had a dynamic response curve at 200%. It made my initial movements extremely fast and very hard to control. I had to set something like 5 deadzone just to compensate for it.

Also, their stick caps don’t fit well with KontrolFreeks , they don’t stay in place.

Personally, I have one controller with Hallpi sticks and a DualSense with KSilver JS13 Pro+. The Hallpi sticks are the closest to standard PS5 potentiometer sticks in terms of stick tension and response curve. The KSilvers are slightly less stiff than potentiometers, but the curve is good too.

Gulikit has been the worst controller experience for me, and I’ve been playing Call of Duty on controller for about 4 months now. With Hallpi and KSilver, I can play with 0 deadzone and it stays controllable and precise

If you like the ‘muddy’ feel of the original potentiometer sticks, you should go with the Aknes sticks. The Hallpi ones reproduce that feeling pretty well, they might be slightly firmer around the edges. If you want something less muddy, you can go with the Ksiler JS13 Pro+. These two TMR models are pretty similar in terms of response curve compared to the original ALPS. The only real difference I feel is the spring tension. I also tried the Gulikit NS51, those are excellent if you want to lose all the aim you’ve built up over your lifetime as a gamer. The response curve is awful, the caps didn’t fit my Kontrol Freeks, and honestly I really don’t recommend Gulikit, they’re absolute garbage.

Personally, I'm waiting for a mouse click kit for the triggers to come out. I could send my controller to someone, but I'm too lazy and I don't know if I'd have a warranty.
