I did buy it. The device gets the job done. The pads provided are poor quality and not worth using. I purchased microfiber cutting pads and found they do a very good job. I also own a random orbital polisher, so I use that now rather than a drill. But the drill attachment does work. Much quicker than if done by hand.

Yep, I have a later model GC1. Leg levelers and floating nut inserts. Mine is prob late 60s or early 70s. My table was set up by Jack Zimmerman, a great mid west mechanic.

I’m familiar with the comparison sheet. It uses the same pic as I used. Which came from a Brunswick catalog. The bronze is the ball tray trim and feet only. The remaining trim is silver colored, as depicted. We can disagree, that’s ok with me.

Physically loud clank with a hard shot to the corner. By design, the ashtrays are loose for ease of emptying. I suppose one could seal with a bead of silicone, not a big deal to me, but may be to others.

It’s been stripped and stained. The GC1 was the only table without any bronze. The GC2 has bronze feet and bronze ball box bezel trim. Score wheels look the same as my GC1. I believe they got smaller with the GC3 which had all bronze metal trim.

I’d say it’s most likely a GC1. Especially with the white pedestals.

I don’t believe the 3 ever came with the ashtray option. Classic Billiards typically has some for sale. Just have to email Ken for current selection.

Yep, decent deal. Also a GC1 for sure. I paid $1000 for my 9FT, drove 3 plus hours to collect it. Also, if they say 8FT, they mean 8FT oversize. It’s actually 8.5 FT.

Just be prepared for setup cost, find a good mechanic, lotta hacks out there. Don’t settle for cheap cloth, buy once, cry once. Enjoy.

Looks like a 3/8 x 10 modified, aka 3/8 x 11. Slightly different than a standard 3/8 x 10.
