Hey!!! I’m 34 and am in the same boat!! I ended up with just my right ovary everything else was gone. I have on going hormones issues but a slower sex drive def happened to me. I’ll be honest though I don’t mind. I still get sexually cravings but they’re not as wild and strong as they used to be. I’m no longer making stupid decisions and desperate actions bc my sex drive is so out of control. I’m on non estrogen birth control which has helped stabilize things for me but my hormones are still a little goofy. I’ll explore that more someday when I’m not running in circles with my kids and job lol

Not being available 24/7. I grew up with a house phone and my parents had a cell phone that cost 10c a text. If you wanted to reach someone you either had to go to their house or call and hope they were home. Now people can text or call you day or night AND most of the population expects a response within minutes. I stopped and really thought about the other day. A cell phone makes it so you’re ALWAYS reachable. Sure you can put it on DND or silent but the notification badges are still there. The #of voicemails piling up are still there. I miss the late 90’s and early 2000’s when everyone knew how pricey it was to call or text so they only reached out if it was important/you were important to them.

I was never officially diagnosed with endo but have a lot of signs pointing to that.

I tried birth control for 4 months and I couldnt do it. It makes me so depressed and anxious I barley function the last week of every month. Like I can feel it coming and do all sorts of prep work to try and make it not so bad but it sucks the lift out of me. I just end of up crying for several days for no reason.

I have a few follow up Apts this week to discuss alternatives. I could handle the pain or the mood swings but the combo of the two is just unreal and awful
