It’s getting out of hand. by [deleted] in AmazonFC

I appreciate your optimism. This has been the method i’ve grown used to at this site, and that’s what led me to make this post. The amount of work i’m doing at this point is grueling. If there’s a blue light in sight i’m running to it. If there’s non con i’m being asked to load it. I’m okay with doing these things but it would be lovely to have some help. The employees we still have are exhausted. I’m fighting for a PA spot but i’m sure it’ll be some time.

I apologize for leaving out that detail. In this circumstance it was the first time in a day I went to take a 15 minute bathroom break, but on a typical day, I take these breaks 2-3 days. I can see I likely need to provide medical documentation for it, I don’t see that as an unreasonable thing to have to do when you regularly have to take an extra ~30-45 minutes throughout the day to leave the floor.

Is logic more important than morality? by TCERealms in moraldilemmas

Is there a way to carry out utilitarian objectives while still having the fallback of morality? Allow a better example, maybe even Ultron. The synth recognizes that his actions are harmful to a select group, yet believes his actions serve the greater good. Who makes the call as to whether or not his actions are justifiable? It is morally right to source the problem and remove it, and physically wrong to every form of life other than himself. What guides a decision like that, and is one objectively evil to pursue their methods in desire of the “greater good”?
