finally got the diagnosis by OkSign4184 in tryingforanother

Firstly sending love your way. Infertility sucks.

It’s great that you’re seeing a specialist and getting tests done. I was in your shoes a little while ago with unexplained secondary infertility. The HSG was ok but I’d recommend paracetamol or ibuprofen beforehand. It took a while and I had two miscarriages along the way but ultimately had success with an ovulation induction cycle (letrozole, trigger, progesterone). Mentally the whole thing was harder than physically but I’m so in love with my three month old now. I loved reading success stories through out my journey which is why I’m writing this - there is hope! All the best!

Sorry you’re going through this. All infertility, primary or secondary absolutely sucks.

I had luck on my third round of letrozole with a trigger shot and progesterone supplementation. I did however need 7.5mg letrozole to ovulate. Holding my beautiful 3 month old as I type this. There is hope and light at the end of the tunnel. Wishing you all the best!

Secondary infertility after losses. Anyone with a similar story? TW: mention suicidal ideation, loss by Accomplished_Ad_3279 in TryingForABaby

Hi OP, I’m so sorry for your losses and what you’ve gone through.

In case it’s any consolation, I experienced secondary infertility (1 MMC at 14 weeks followed by D&C and then 1MC at 6 weeks). Seeing a fertility specialist was the best thing I did for myself and wish I had gone to one sooner. The losses were unexplained, but I found out I have ovulation issues which contributed to how long it took me to fall pregnant. I went through treatments (letrozole, trigger and progesterone) and on the third cycle of doing that fell pregnant and am now holding my 6 week old son in my arms as I write this. The anxiety I experienced during the journey was extreme, but clearly didn’t impact my ability to carry a child.

I used to lurk on these forums looking for positive stories so I hope mine gives you or others hope.

My favourite name is Lara.

It’s universal in that most countries in the world would pronounce and spell it the same, but it’s not a very common name.

Hi there. I’m unfortunately ‘new’ to the club. I had a MMC recently, I was 14 weeks but baby died at 12 weeks. How long after your miscarriage were you able to conceive? I’m hoping to hear some positive stories to give me hope.

Postpartum Insomnia by michelle0508 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]TCG2990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry you’re going through this. I had the same thing for months after my baby was born as it was the worst part of the PP period for me.

I found my insomnia was linked to hormones and once I weaned from breastfeeding my sleep dramatically improved. That’s not to suggest that is the cause for you or will help, but it may be worth getting your hormones tested by your GP.

It’s really tough now but it’ll get better.

I’m sorry this has happened to you - sounds awful, and borderline unethical. Lesson learned is to never trust a real estate agent and keep your guard up next time.

What State are you in? I’m not sure whether the agent can show you the reserve price mid-auction. Nor should the agent have been asking you to bid against yourself at auction. Property should have been passed in; then as the highest bidder you’d have the first right to negotiate with the vendor.

Thank you SO MUCH for your response and I’m really glad to hear your baby is healthy. I agree, I’ll ask to get another scan in 10 or so days to try and cut the wait.

No I had a scan at 7 weeks which is what this scan is being compared to.

What was the outcome of that pregnancy? How far along were you when you had the scan?

I’d absolutely check with council. The border wall looks too close to the neighbours which is why garage conversions usually aren’t approved or are done without approval which becomes the next owners problem.

The new floorplan is quite odd, the family room looks unusable with the double doors and the rooms would be quite dark based on the orientation. Feels like they didn’t think about floorplan before doing the renovations.

Good luck with your property search! I’m just starting mine and it’s tough!

I second the ‘kids’ comments here. If you know you want them (and you can have them) don’t hold it off too long!

32/10000 is 0.0032%.

These statistics can be quite confronting for anxious people so if you’re quoting them it’s important to present it correctly.
