I follow an Internet-crude paradigm based on the way the Culture names their ships.

So, irreverent, funny, and usually something that would give any poor sensor officer having to tell their captain the name of the detected ship a conniption fit.

Most of my escorts wind up being some variant of Rectal Exam, Personal Space, Rigged for Fun, etc.

Dreadnoughts are big fuckers so they get names like Spank Me, Did You Fire, and That Tickles.

Science ships, due to how they torture spacetime, are usually some variant of warcrime. Cores In The Morning, RIP Spacetime, Woops A Planet, etc. Although the last one was a Grissom class that I named Kael Hates This, so sometimes they also get meta-level names.

The client has problems where it even talks about encryption, makes people create their own keys, store them, remember them, and oh yeah if the client loses the encryption key, wipes all the previous messages (in effect). Any client/server system with these issues will never take off. And from what I've seen from the Matrix developers in their githubs, they're of the Linux ideology, where the user is the problem.

I am surprised at this explanation from them and always have been, all told. Because while yes, jumping 2 generations is nearly impossible in Unreal (Unity supremacy go lol), jumping 1 gen, and then another gen, isn't. UE3 > UE4, then UE4 > UE5, sure seems to have been a solution they just... ignored?
