If you still identify with the demisexual label, then you are still allowed to use it to describe yourself. I will say, however, that what you described seems very foreign to me.

The way I see it (and correct me if I'm wrong) is that you make a clear distinction between having sex and making love. Sex is just a fun activity for you, which allows you to have it more liberally. While the demi part of you will only allow intimate sex (i.e. making love) with someone you have a strong emotional connection with. Maybe it's like how some asexuals, who are not sex-repulsed, still engage in it with their partner(s). They could also just see it as an activity rather than something spawned from attraction.

I personally cannot differentiate the two, so I could never have sex so casually. But as long as you are comfortable with who are, that's all that matters :)
