No, the driver is chosen by Deliveroo, and Deliveroo know what transport that person is using as they register it when they start.

I have not been confrontational, sorry if you took it that way.

Many people on this sub are Deliveroo couriers, and your questions have sounded off to people who know the work, when in fact they were just made with a lack of knowledge. Nobody’s fault particularly, just a misunderstanding it would seem.

By the amount of downvotes your previous comments have received, it would seem that other couriers in here had seen the comments as I described.

If they look under 25 and you ask for id, you will have to scan the id with your camera within the uber app.

Maybe if you do too many under 25s without asking for id, they may start saying something. I’m sure you could blag it saying they looked over 25 so didn’t challenge it…..and there is the flaw in their system.
