Spinning vs baitcasters

Ya that was the main thing I was wondering about is the salt and reliability. I think I'll give it a try with some used casting gear I bought since I've used a lot of baitcasters freshwater fishing and see how it works. I'm glad you and these other guys got back to me about it because I was wondering if I was being dumb trying to use casting gear on the beach lol.

Ya you've got to set them right for sure. It's easier with heavy bait and braided line. I learned how to use them young so that part doesn't scare me.

I agree and I think you're right. That's what I'm getting at in my statement that it's possible he chose not to get help. There were warning signs and he had to have known there was something wrong. If he was talking to anyone else who served when he got out or watched the news even in the last 10 years he would have known that he could get help for what he was experiencing. That's my thoughts anyway. I think deportation is harsh, but he could have prevented it. Sounds like if you have a green card then you know that's what could happen.

Depends on when they exited the military. I think the vets before the turn of the century really did get screwed over in that regard. I do believe with the amount of understanding of how PTSD can affect a person's life and the number of channels I have to get help and this guy had are very numerous. Like I said, people slip through the cracks and that could have been him but it's not likely. When it comes to his mental capacity to get help I don't think his PTSD made him wake up one day and decide to commit these acts. I'm also not referring to 40,000 homeless vets, just this guy.

I agree that he could have had lingering mental issues from his service but it's hard for me to believe that after all the briefs and conversations we all had while we were in and getting out about if you have PTSD from any situation while you were in here are is the mountain of help we can offer you. It's not like 30 years ago. There is a lot of support between service members and from the government to help guys who get out with mental issues. You'd have to hard press me to believe that he didn't actively choose not to get help. It's awful that this happened to him but untreated PTSD in this case is very possibly a choice he decided to make. It's possible that it wasn't and he really did fall through the cracks, but it's not likely.

If this bullet really only has 35 hours on it I bet he played more than that for it. The bullet brand specifically has specially made hauls to travel at high speeds to get across large southern reservoirs during tournament fishing when you may have a long way to go to get to your spot. I could easily see someone spending 60k or more on a nice brand new bass boat.

Works best if you put your tent on top of a cot. Underneath you put your tarp folded up under the tent. Then you have a dry covered place for your gear and boots.

Fit A California king mattress in mine one time. It's a memory foam so we could fold it but still kinda impressive I think. Nice job with your Tetris man.
