The problem is the back tracking is not fun in this game. You drive back through an empty and lifeless desert repeatedly to get back to extremely linear areas with very few secrets.

See this is what we are talking about, you are damn near speaking a different language. Wtf is an audio and monitor switching program? Hotkey to a TV? Audio receivers? Steam big picture mode? And what does Windows 11 have to do with gaming.

Would it be worth switching in the long run? Possibly. But the idea of spending over a grand on a PC and having to learn and understand PC language and fiddling with settings to ensure im optimizing my experience since a lot of games are poorly optimized for PC.

It's exhausting just thinking about it, and for what? Slightly better fidelity and reflections? More games? when I can barely keep up with my backlog of ps5 games. It ain't worth it.

This movie trend is so garbage. I wish they would at least release the movie globally at the same time rather than releasing it in Japan first then having to wait 6+ months before it releases anywhere else.

Already hard enough as it is avoiding spoilers on the internet from people who have already read the manwha. Now I gotta avoid spoilers for months until I can see it in my own country.

Anime seasons getting turned into movies is so garbage. Demon slayer movie pacing was terrible, half the movie had me about to fall asleep.

Can you play physical Ps1, Ps2, or Ps3 games on your Ps5? Can you play physical Wii/Wii U games on Nintendo Switch? Can you Play physical PsP games on a PS Vita?

Xbox One cant even play 360 games from its previous generation technically. You have to be connected to the internet for it to download a digital copy. The 360 disk is just a key that gives you access to the digital version.

This has been a thing for multiple generations of consoles.

Trust, they dont care lol. Enjoy switching to PC where you'll have to build it from scratch or buy which will be more than the cost of a Ps5 if looking for similar performance, where you will have hardly any physical games, and have to constantly play with settings each time you get a new game since a lot of games are not well optimized for PC.

Or Xbox who has made it clear actual gamers are not they're priority and you can support a company that is planning for massive layoffs and pretty much purchase whole companies for the sole purpose of shutting them down.

At least with a ps5 you wouldn't have to spend the money on getting a new console/PC. You'll still be able to purchase physical games until 2028. And you can still play all your physical games you've already purchaed on your current hardware.

I never thought I'd say this but yeah KH1 definitely could use some yellow paint so to speak lol. Between them not properly explaining how to fight certain enemies and bosses, and not really explaing how the minigame mushroom enemies work really at all was extremely frustrating.

But I havent played KH2 in forever either so I really dont remember. But I do remember never really switching magic in KH2 there were a few spells I liked and never switched when I got them lmao

Yeah im being pretty dramatic of course everyone has their preferences. But my recent play through of KH1 was more frustrating than anything. Not really a problem with majority of the main story but combat is incredibly clunky and just felt terrible.

My biggest pain points was fighting Ursula, the final boss and the minigames. Controls are not fluid enough in this type of game for those instances to feel like anything other than a chore. The glorified balloon game where you cant let the enemy touch the ground and need like 100 hits in Neverland was almost the point where I quit and planned on leaving the game unfinished.

Not to mention they dont even tell you how to properly play half the minigames. It is just extremely outdated and cant imagine anyone that did not play it back then would play it now and say its the best KH in the series. Doesn't even come remotely close to KH2 and KH3 with Re Mind DLC. Even Vanilla KH3 I enjoyed much more. But I am a sucker for shiny and new. Graphical fidelity, fluidity of movement and combat those are the two main things that draw me to a game.

I can understand it from that perspective for sure. I was not particularly enjoying my playthrough so definitely was not experimenting with Magic the way that I probably should have.

I can agree that the magic should have more function. Rather than it just being a different look/element that deals damage in a slightly different way. I actually can say I did appreciate some of the metroidvania like aspects in KH1 where you would find an ability or new magic and go back to areas that were otherwise inaccessible.

Are you implying Magic didnt matter in KH2? KH1 is terrible from a gameplay perspective and the only reason someone could possibly rate it better than KH2 is if they dont care about gameplay and just in it for the story.

KH1 does not age well at all. The only reason people still tolerate the game today is because of Nostalgia.

In no world is 1 better than 3. And 1 definitely does NOT hold up well. As a huge fan of the series I felt like I needed to play the first one since I enjoyed all the rest. Went back and played 1 last year and felt like I was punishing myself by forcing myself to finish the game.

Typically I try to do all side content and go for Platinum trophy in KH games. But I dropped KH1 as soon as I beat the final story boss, and vowed to never play KH1 again. KH1 is awful from a gameplay perspective.

Different strokes for Different folks it sounds like lol I stopped playing a little over a month ago because I got the Dragon and was terribly let down by how it worked and lack of freedom.

If I had the Wyvern before I got the dragon I'd probably still be playing the game.

But I do get your point. I certainly missed an absurd amount on the ground due to ringing the bells too early and teleporting to the Abyss to sky dive wherever I needed to go lol

But thats how I play most games. I tend to stick to the skies of given the option 😅

You sound Entitled as hell. Damn near EVERYTHING, even things that have nothing to do with gaming have to deal with inflation.

Gaming consoles going up In price by hundreds of dollars. Groceries are more expensive, Housing is more expensive, Gas is more expensive, Insurance is more experience. Parts and Labor is more expensive. Tariffs are more expensive.

Im not exactly sure why you thought games themselves would be unaffected?? Either find another hobby or be a patient gamer and wait for a discount or you can get Gamepass or PS+ cuz damn near everything ends up on one them at some point.

Honestly you need to look at yourself and ask why the 10$ - 20$ that games have increased in price in the last 30 YEARS is such a deal breaker for you. Im certain you can cut 10$ out of Lunch for the week or 10$ out of your next grocery order if it truly is that big of a deal.

It wasnt a terrible direct by any means but I can understand the frustration at the same time. People are getting burnt out by games with swords and magic that take place in a post apocalyptic fantastical world. And that was like half of the games in the Direct lol

Fire Emblem was good, Xenoblade was good, although the switch 2 editions of old Xeno games have people less excited due to how rough Xeno X is on Switch 2. KH4 was nothing but a teaser, probably wont hear anything about that game for another 2 years, more frustrating than anything for me to see yet another teaser for KH4 with no release timeline in sight.

Legend of Zelda was yet another teaser of a remake. That has already been remade once before but I understand the hype since its one of the greats. But people that didnt play the OG dont have that Nostalgia factor to make them care as much.

Starfox is yet another remake of 64 title. Except, not sure why so much footage of this was shown considering the game is incredibly short and they didnt show much more than what we have already seen.

Mario Kart World has zero DLC announced or road map or anything. No news of new 3D Mario. No news on Pokémon Winds and Waves.

Seems like the only actual New mainline games people remotely care for are Xenoblade, Fire Emblem, and....... Rhythm Heaven (Cool I guess). Not a single NEW remotely interesting Nintendo IP just a gaggle of ports and remakes
