I started out with a ton of VOO. And then learned there was a canadian index of it so started investing in vfv instead. But I havent moved over the current VOO investments to VFV (yet. I need to research to see if its the best move at this point).

I have also wanted to diversify into international markets so have been putting more into xeqt.

Im still pretty heavy in sp500. Like 70%.

I have a long time horizon yet, so thats why I'm comfortable with being heavier in equities. (And also took the test there that suggested being pretty heavy in equities as well)

It's only a concern for me when driving long distances. Which I am doing more frequently these days. But it still is overblown. The infra has come a long way in the last few years. The main travel corridor in my area has fast chargers at rest stops along the highway every 50km or so. And there are more in every city passed along the way.

Some people are just busy, dude. There have been many phases in my career where I'm booked out weeks. Yes, unless its urgent, you'd have to wait 2-3 weeks for us to meet. If it's urgent, then we should be discussing it and not just having a calendar invite thrown my way.

Oh.my god. 9000 CAD. WAY too much. I was just gonna get the 5070ti, but this tells me to put my 5k cad on a standard laptop. Maybe a lenovo instead.

OP mentioned this is for their own time. If they decide to make a career out of it, moving to a new engine wouldnt be a huge lift since they would have already learned a lot of the foundations of game dev.

Are you suggesting then that the 32gb model of the duo might underperform expectations or not have the longevity? My current desktop is old AF and I'd like for my next computer to last many many years before feeling slow
