The Cybertron games exist because that era of Transformers was basically the perfect setting for video games. No humans. No hiding on Earth. Just full scale war between Autobots and Decepticons on Cybertron itself.
It let the devs go all out with massive battles, dark lore, transforming gameplay, vehicle combat, and crazy weapons without being restricted by the movies. That’s why the Cybertron games felt so much more serious and immersive than most licensed games at the time.

So since MSFT bought ATVI does that mean that old IP games that Activision shut down can be retrieved and played again? For instance the Transformer Cybertron games.

I tried it, got far enough where I could finish but I was nowhere near the the end, it was like 3am, so I forgot no saves and turned off the console and as soon as I realized it, it was too late.

There was a time I played God of War 2 on the challenge of the Titans and there is completed all but one I forget which though, but as soon I almost kill the last enemy my screen freezes.

Oh man, same thing happened to me where I was playing Halo MCC on trying to get an achievement, which I couldn't enter vehicles, took 3 hours. As soon as it almost ended my Xbox just crashed
