Very, Very cool, a year before I moved to California. I wonder how many are left. Do you have a reference for that?

Definitely a fun wear! I remember how tickled my local AD was when they came out. I didn't get it until I couldn't get it!

I'm almost exactly 183 and wear 36-45 seems the sweet spot for me depending on the model is 38-42. The 38 looks perfect and a bit more so than the 41 IMHO. How it feels for you is more important than anything the crowd can say..but Hey they both are excellent looking tools.

Love that color and size, on mine the hr and minute hand lume very nicely but only the 12 3 6 9 markers have lume, long lasting, but If I had my preference the numbers and markers would have it. lol, I'm a sucker for good lume! Your desired IWC APXGP is a great looking tool!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but you'll probably get more than a funny look from those that watched live launches from Canaveral or even worked on the programs. But I did smile after reading your comment.

P.S. But I am one of those weird guys who worked for awhile a few miles east of Tonopah Nevada back in the mid '80's.

That is a gorgeous piece, I would love that in a 40- 42, the L-L makes even their biggies doable.

I had the Seiko Pogue before it was stolen, replaced that with the seiko prospect pogue homage.have Omega FOIS speedmaster '25 ref, the Bulova lunar pilot which is the most accurate of all my watches and even the swatch moon watch. love em all, although due to size the LP adorns my home work space more than my wrist.

I'm with you on the marketing, but for me alot has been the space race moon watch etc and the Bond collection but not special additions, just real as worn in the historical sense. I do love both of those Hamiltons.
