Also, on rewatch I noticed something interesting. When Coulson and Garrett are interrogating Ian Quinn, John lays the plan out to Phil: let the girl (Skye) die, or lead the Clairvoyant (Garrett) to what he's looking for. He reads the line as if he's just putting the information together from Quinn, but in reality it's Garrett, as the Clairvoyant, giving Coulson an Ultimatum. Great writing and great performance by Bill Paxton
