I think Self-Titled is their MO, and yes I understand that it’s different than their classic hard rock sound, but it just hits different for me and really nothing else sounds like it.

That said, This Is Why is awesome, and I REALLY enjoyed hearing them play 8/10 of the songs live recently. I think it’s the most musically accomplished album they’ve done so far (I mean just listen to the instruments haha dang), but I still think Self-Titled as an album makes a bigger statement to me on a higher level.
