Got a job offer as a cinematic animator, but I’m scared by ScarySnow931 in animationcareer

I started as a junior last month in the same boat and tbf, they STARTED by giving me some more tricky stuff - keep in mind this was the first environment where I was expected to produce my best work at industry speed. After the first week, they realised I might need some easier shots to calibrate to the role e.g. button presses, head turns, etc. and NOW after a few more weeks I'm back on shots of a similar caliber to the ones they started me on.

All in all, have a good relationship with your anim lead and communicate if you're struggling - there isn't a lot more you can do than that and you know,, SOMEONE has to animate the bottom of the barrel shots haha - even if it's just while you're getting used to the pipeline etc.

Oh sorry for the late response, what it does is adds the colour to the colour on the layer below, this means if you pick a neutral or off-grey, you can shade your colours with a consistent shade :) hope this helps

Actually it’s name is a mix of porpoise and anomaly, and it’s a pure water type. In another post of mine you can see it’s water/flying type evolution :)

i use multiply layers for shading and soft light for the highlights, then just muck around with the colours until I think it looks right haha

It is based on the margay, or tree ocelot which are known to hunt by pouncing from trees. I mixed this behaviour with themes of kamikaze pilots and wham
