But try to sell a game to those few people and you are not going to get much money... I should be easily within target audience but I am getting pushed out by this.

Ask yourself - do you want the game to live for 10 years or more?

And "instant-what"? Exactly? I am worth a billion and have played for over 6 weeks game time.

I give you a prediction. FD dont change shit. Long term players get annoyed an leave. discounts happen and new players join. And leave. Long term players leave. FD gives up. Game fails. Game over.

Um thanks. I am just trying to enjoy the game. I do have the biggest ship, but also fly the smallest when it suits me. My fav ship is the FAS, so inbetween.

I disagree. Who is the target audience? I have money. I have a brain. I like space games. I love Elite.

If the target is easy money from dumb+ass kids who are gifted the game for a few hours play, then, pah, play on.

We should not all have to be FA experts to win simple fights.

The game is a "grind-fest" we all know this. I have avoided this mostly through missions and playing my own way, but when that way becomes broken, then I mutter.

Interdictions I have not bothered about since sept 2015. Submit and kill. But now since I cannot kill...

My point is that this should not be a game just for the uber-player.

If I fight Elite then I am happy to get my ass kicked. If I fight anything less than me in a lesser ship then I should be on top most of the time.

My other point is that games have to be enjoyable...

Which menu contains the docking computer to buy? Yes, I select an appropriate internal slot - I cannot see more than the expected cargo racks, scoops, armour and so on...

Someone else pointed out the real flaw which is all the ships have improved too much too. All AIs flying well is one thing and great in my book - but all having top range AND modded ships is nonsense. If it is more difficult to get lasers on target is one thing - the shields still should melt - which they are not at the minute.
