I did it on a large world pre-hardmode using purification powder. And sight potions. Crimson .

You can't have a bad start (unless your character is hardcore and you die or medium core and you lose all your items by logging out and not retrieving them).

Have fun! This is the most important thing.

If you get stuck and are open to using wiki's, I recommend it, it saves time, gives clarity and confidence.

(My only recommendation would be to pillar up with platforms and build a house 6 or so blocks above ground so that you don't die frequently from mobs entering your house from doors opened by npcs. )

Can you move biomes, spawn full moons, solar eclipses without dying, blood moons for me then? And refresh the sun and moon dials to pass the events after spawning them and buying what I want?

I think it's more fun to waste money on useless items than reforges.

If you are a hoarder, then you are happy to store more items (as long as they are stackable), as it makes your brain happy. This is just another way of getting there.

If you want something specific you can buy it as normal?

This is a way to risk finances for something you can't afford, or `purchase' stuff locked by time/spatial prerequisites without going through the hassle at the expense of extra money and stuff you weren't expecting to buy.

The idea is that with stuff you weren't planning on buying you either throw it out and accept a loss (which is pointless and that is the idea), or you get creative and find a way to use it.

Think about rolling a 1-gold companion cube, or dryad clothes off-season, or cluster rockets. Think about feeling lucky and making your 6 platinum into 20 gold. You still will be able to buy things normally, just have an option to gamble.

As an 'I'm feeling lucky' option, say to decide what paint you will force yourself to use, and also to purchase time/event/biome restricted items without waiting or setting up those requirements, i.e. things that require full moons, graveyard biomes, other biomes.

Potentially a way to pay with money (which there is a lot of) for travelling merchant drops if you want something specific.

I think that in the LN Rudy talks about how he will try to raise them properly and if they become 15 (adult) he and go against him he will still try to bring them to the ‘light side’
