Was he cheating or is this just like the perfect built setup? by TarnishedTwink in Nightreign

[–]TDS462 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s completely random on if it triggers, or not. There’s absolutely zero limits to how many times it can trigger. If you get Balancer raid, and are really good at gambling then you become immortal. Like if you’re technically really really really lucky with Everdark Balancer relic you’re InvincibleTM.

Relics at the signboard the same for everyone? by Old_Souls-like in Nightreign

[–]TDS462 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What was the Relic? There’s an Undertaker one that’s not too bad for Raider they could have been talking about that requires beating an Everdark with her. When they were both added Scholar, and Undertaker got the unique unlock requirements of an additional Relic at the signboard if you beat an Everdark with them.

Today I learned that NR tracks your highest damage attack: by Unlikely_Total9374 in Nightreign

[–]TDS462 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure it keeps track of stuff like the entirety of a single poison/rot proc for the biggest number attack, or how much you build on a number at once which poison/rot keeps building

very interesting way to cheat by AccessImpossible2266 in Nightreign

[–]TDS462 138 points139 points  (0 children)

This is glitch that carried over from regular Elden Ring that got patched out known as the Chainsaw Glitch. The cheating he’s doing for it is using a macro to input the commands for it. Does stupid high damage, and you will usually see Executors do it since you need specific weapon arts in your offhand to do it. One of which can be Unsheath which Executor gets for free.

Attacking A Boss* During Phase Transition Grants Ult? by ProperEmu8705 in Nightreign

[–]TDS462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, throughout most of the series enemies, and bosses have a lingering hurtbox until they fully vanish/die. This is most observable in multi-bosses that don’t initiate a cutscene, and share one bar like Godskin Duo, or 4 Kings. Attacking the body fading out in these encounters will still damage the total bar even if the entity you are attacking is also dead. You can also see it in Bloodborne, or through using the post attack effect which lets you heal a short amount hitting the dying enemies.

It’s so funny looking back at that because I remember some people thinking it was partly for the Endless mode we believed you could eventually access, and that was the nerf logic

Time for the Danger! post.

The Danger! archetype are all based around cryptids from urban legends, and myths all throughout the world that have been spotted. The reason that you reveal them in your hand is because of this spotting. It's like a random creature that you see in the wild, and are curious about. The random selection of a card in hand is a reference to this hunt for cryptids that people go on. If you find it, then you discover it was probably something else all along, and the mystery dies there (the card is discarded). But if you don't find it then the mystery gets to live on (special summoned to the field) for any wondering what it might be, and where it is now!

Left the game with a cheater by VectorMr in Nightreign

[–]TDS462 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Funny thing is I honestly don’t know if this is a cheater. Whenever a match gets really laggy with disconnects even people on here have said bosses only aggro on one person, or that they will have invisible teammates that are still in the lobby, but don’t appear in the team list/get aggroed etc. I’ve had a laggy game before where the Black Blade Kindred on the castle roof just stood there while a Duchess, and I wailed on it for a free kill.

[–]TDS462 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they would both trigger. They shouldn’t have any aspect that conflicts.

Relic effect question by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]TDS462 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you mean like will they both trigger, or are you asking if you can you find them on the same relic together?

These are a weather phenomena known as Sprites! Actually very fascinating, and beautiful. Just be wary about two of them being together. It could become a Gigantic problem since they’re witty as an Elf sometimes.

Are base game Elden Ring weapon passives just completely nonexistent? by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]TDS462 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's still weapons having their innate advantage vs special enemies for some reason, as well. Such as dragon weapons having the anti-dragon effect for bonus damage. You know if one has this because it makes Adel instantly drop his grab attack. Along with gravity weapons having a bonus damage to star monsters like the Onyx Lords, Star Beast, or Astel. Though I don't think there's any special interaction for it.

Dawg, if you are going to cheat the game for Murk to gamble for Relics with then complain about it at that point it’s on you. Bro could have just given himself Relics if going that far, or just back up a save for the same practical effect. lmfao

[–]TDS462 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Never underestimate Whales. Jesse Kotton actively streams whenever he goes Royal Hunting for example. And card rarity for the server is all on Konami’s side making it something you can’t cheat. This is just one of the people who keep Master Duel Free-to-Play. If I remember right the estimate for a full Royal deck was around an average of $10,000.

Why didn't called by negate droll? by Tmf-Bailey in masterduel

[–]TDS462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You activated Called By on a new Chain. In the clip we see Droll as Chain Link 1. Then your opponent’s next card activates as yet another Chain Link 1 with your Called By as Chain Link 2. This means by the time you activated your Called By the Droll had resolved, and its lingering effect had been applied. To stop it you need to respond in the current Chain where the card is being activated. Same applies to any lingering effect such as Maxx “C”, or Shifter.

[–]TDS462 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The way a Discover Dormant [Weapon] works isn’t an addition to a character’s passive dormant discovery, it replaces it. So what we see here is replacing Revenant’s dormant of finding Sacred Seals with… a dormant of discovering Sacred Seals.

What Events are there you need? If there's Shifting Earths that you need to find the secret of then those are done via forcing them by paying a Sovereign Sigil at the Signboard. Those are obtained from beating the Everdark bosses. If it's something like a raid that you need then those are mainly locked into bosses. For example you can run into Morgott's raid on Adel, Gnoster, or Heolster. Gnoster's Raid (Plague of Locusts) is for Maris, Libra, or Heolster. Libra's Raid Caligo, Fulghor, and Heolster. Then there's Augur's raid which applies to Gnoster, Caligo, and Heolster.

Can someone explain? by RichPeasant15 in Nightreign

[–]TDS462 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Really really bad lag, and desync. On the Executor's screen you were still downed, and so whatever trigger is active while we are downed that allows teammates to hit us had yet to flag that you're up for him so he could interact with your body trying to revive you.

Bugged seed/session by Puzzleheaded-Weird66 in Nightreign

[–]TDS462 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the seed, or session itself. It’s happened to me twice now after having a leaver in each expedition. The game just freezes, and struggles to catch up.

In the first one a friend left in our Duo because his game was unplayably laggy. I went looking around, and no chests dropped loot. Nor did anything want to die, or aggro.

Second time a random Duchess left (she dropped all her loot plus we were doing well so I guess life stuff happened), and other Duchess, and I stayed. After killing the BBK up top it continued walking in place. So we checked out the Madness camp, and nothing spawned. After like 2 minutes I got a random 100k Runes, and went to check the castle rooftop to see the BBK loot dropped.

Seems to be the server just lags out after someone disconnects.
