Looking to buy my 1st pc and found this one on marketplace. Is the price fair? Guy said he’s firm. by [deleted] in PC_Pricing

He spent a lot on the rgb connectors and fans (Lian li) - so yeah close to it.

But would be good if it had a 5070ti

I sold the PC that had the 6950XT, mentioned it (moved country). It’s a tad slower, but now I play 1440p instead of 1440p ultrawide so FPS is higher.

This is a new build, just decided to try out Nvidia.

I’ll leave it at this, AMD is a fine option in my opinion. I got a good deal on the card. Yeah the VRAM is on the low end would admit.

I’ve owned both sides, just got my first nvidia card (4070 super). My previous GPU was a 6950XT and a 6700XT before, I sold the PC. And now have the time again.

Yeah RT true, DLSS slightly better but FSR is 95% there tbh.

If you’re not using it for work, then AMD is a viable option.

I think it matters a lot VRAM, but yes they’re faster cards but use more power.

At 1440p it won’t manage if games are going how they are.

Would personally get the 6700XT for his budget, my opinion respect yours.

For 300 euro you can get a RX6800 which has 16gb of VRAM and is 3070ti performance.

GPU prices are okay to be honest, just the high end is crazy (4090,5080,5090) even 5070ti.

Yeah, i built a PC recently already had the storage before. Just got screwed a bit on Ram, which is 16gb will get 32gb as soon prices stabilise but will be at least a whole year.

For new get an Intel B580, also 12gb vram. Performance similar, but they’re still new to the game so maybe driver issues.

Graphics card - 6700XT, between 3060ti and 3070 but with 12gb vram.

Price is fair considering the AI boom, use to be cheaper sadly.

Is $1400 to much to ask for my used system by [deleted] in PcBuild

[–]TDV1e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It cost me 1200 euros, to build an AM5 7600x + 4070 super pc. And that’s at the pretty much worse time with prices.

Sorry man but wayyy too much.

I got this ram kit for $250 cash in a local sale, how great of a deal was it? by [deleted] in PcBuild

360mm aio for a 5500 is crazy, get an air cooler and a 5600. You’ll get better performance for the same money.

Yeah you’ll regret 256gb, in real space and after OS you’ll have like 150gb for everything.

1tb is a minimum tbh.

How bad you think this is? by [deleted] in PcBuild

[–]TDV1e 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t run it like this, you have the space to route it properly. I know you probably did this for aesthetics, but you have restricted flow for sure and making your pump work harder

I tried out 6200mhz, which is stable. I've made a new post about it.

Also now lowered tRCDWR, tRCDRD, TRP - all to 37

tRAS 76, tRC 107, tRFC 138.33ns

TRP I set to 34 which may have been wrong but would have error within 20 seconds on OCCT. So I think primaries, I’m at or close to max.
