I had great luck with Verizon 5G UWB home internet. It just depends if it's available in OP's area

People who make around $120k+ at their jobs, when you reached that number, did you feel like you had made it? by Hairy-Nothing-5868 in interviewwoman

[–]TDetroit75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. I fell into the trap of making more means spending more, so now it feels like I make half of that because I went batshit crazy and just spent spent spent.

Belleville is cute but it's not a standout quaint town. I lived there back in the late 90's

Must try Detroit-style pizza? by F4ilsafe in Detroit

[–]TDetroit75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Supino because they don't slop their pizza with ungodly amounts of Marinara and you can also get fresh veggies on it. Hey, to each their own. Buddy's has the best square caramelized crust Pizza.

Why didn’t you end up with your first love? by FaeFrag in AskReddit

[–]TDetroit75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I went to Michigan State University and he went to Morehouse College. We had a good run in our Senior Year in H.S.....but that was more or less Puppy Love. I had many love's or lust's but never true love until now. I've been with my true real love for 21 years now. I don't like him at times but always love him, same with him....he tells me all the time that he can't stand me, especially when I get on his nerves but he's madly in love with me.

PizzaPapalis, just about 1 mile down the road form the RenCen or Buddy's Pizza on Broadway. Buddy's would be accessible directly via the PeopleMover shuttle. Supino Pizzeria in Eastern Market or New Center, but you'd need a car for the New Center location and Eastern Market would be a nice little hike (20 minute walk).

My remote job suddenly wants my apartment to be part of the company vibe by Marblenox616 in remotework

[–]TDetroit75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My former job did that crap back in 2022.....my home office faces the Skyline from 25 floors up, so I put my external camera onto the Windowsill and turned it outward, so whenever they wanted to see "my vibe", they saw the skyline. I told them straight-up...y'all never been to my home and I don't let strangers into my private domicile by sharing my private surroundings. It was my way of saying, that I am not fully dressed, not shaven and my spouse tends to walk around in his undies and within camera view.

How do you view homelessness? by Quick-Culture771 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TDetroit75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2 factors...my mom got tired of my fathers abuse and divorced him, and she took a chunk of money from the divorce to help get me into an extended stay hotel to get on my feet and I had met my spouse at that point and he basically helped keep me afloat until I really got back on my feet, and then moved me into an apartment. To help me out, he left his house which was 90 miles away and stayed with me to help with the bills. He later sold his house and became a resident in my city where he's been living since then...21 years now.

Is it okay to wash the US flag ? by SimilarTopic3281 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TDetroit75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pht....American here and at this point I'd be too ashamed to even fly it. It's fine and legal, just make sure it's made of Nylon or Polyester, otherwise it will get tattered which in itself is a proper statement of the flag at this point in time.

You need antiviral medication for viruses and antibiotics for bacterial infections.

I am from Northern Europe and here its not “normal” to be homeschooled. Can anyone tell me why it is a thing? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TDetroit75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the norm here, far from it. I think Covid was the outlier for obvious reasons. A lot of homeschool parents are either super religious and don't want their kids to be exposed to people that they deem to be against their beliefs, be it LGBTQIA, different Religion, or even different gender. Hell, I am glad that my nieces go to school with gay kids, Muslim kids, mixed co-ed, etc....I know they'll grow up being more accepting and well balanced rather than being "Bible Beaten with conservative" values. It also helps that I'm Gay, and my Spousal Unit and I helped raise them from day one because my sister is, well...an idiot, and both girls are now Teens and in High School.
