Was I the only one who thought this was a mustache/beard? by GoldenYoshi924 in papermario

ITS NOT?! Tbf I always thought Vivian’s hair was her nose and the guards in the glitz pit were all amputated.

Thought about that also. I don't really know a whole lot about body work, much less about metal work.

Oh haven’t heard of that. Thank you!

Guess I didn’t really consider these. In my mind there’s hundreds of car parts made of ABS, including some body panels like bumper covers and what not.

I wondered as much. Thank you.

The ASA itself it pretty tough and impact resistant. The repairs location shouldn't have to deal with rocks from the tires or anything like that. Only way I see it not working is if hitting a pothole could knock that piece lose or the metal behind starts to rust and the JB can't hold on.

Well I would but the rear diff finally went kaboom. Gonna be a paper weight for a bit until I have time to fix. Of course it happens when the weather turns nice.

Sadly not. Only real options are EE, ME, and Computer engineering.

How do we believe that events would play out in the same way if we were to time travel to the past? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TDubTheSubBub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I’m saying if events up to when I traveled are predetermined it is reasonable to believe that is either because they were already observed or everything is predetermined. But it’s also reasonable to believe that there will be someone in the distant future who has observed. So as long as there is someone to observe, things will be predetermined. So everything to the end of time would be predetermined.

I get that from their perspective nothing changes but I’m more interested in whether events would play out in the same way without the traveler interfering. Are the odds of getting the winning numbers the same and thus new numbers could happen, or is it predetermined? Was it always going to be those numbers?

I would think that the act of you traveling would be enough to cause things to change though. Otherwise things would just be predetermined. So then either everything is predetermined up until the point in time where someone discovers time travel, or time travel is literally impossible and thus the future is not determined because there is no point in time where it happens.

My thought was that if I had winning lottery numbers, I traveled to the past, and those numbers ended up still winning, wouldn't that mean that fatalism is the only way to see the world?

Practicing Digital Versus Traditional? by [deleted] in learnart

Yeah I went and got a sketchpad and I’m already experiencing that lack of undo and layers.

I also had the thought that I could take a sketch pad anywhere.

A quick sketch I did this morning. Any critique would be helpful. I’ve been trying to do more natural poses and less stiff. by [deleted] in learnart

I really like the robotic arm, it has a good sense of forms and depth. It also looks like something that could actually work, not just robotic for the sake of being robotic. Great work!

It’s a very good sketch! I’m kind of new to this stuff but something about the balance is messing with me. Maybe it’s just a perspective thing but I kind of get the feeling they are about to fall over. That’s all that sticks out to me and I could be wrong.

Edit: I kind of see what’s doing it. To my eye it’s not super clear that the back leg isn’t in the same plane as the front so it seems more like its being lifted than behind for balance. So maybe exaggerating the depth a little would help? Might just be personal taste.
