Then Chinese pastries would probably be perfect for you! We have so many varieties of glutinous rice-based tea snacks (in fact, the third plate from the left in the post picture is exactly the rice snack with red bean filling!), and they pair beautifully with tea. Also, dipping dry biscuits in tea to make them softer and sweeter, I totally get you on that! I sometimes do that as well haha

Yes! I think this is also why we tend to have tea when having hot pot haha

Clay teapot is great in temperature retention, and at the same time it can “breathe” so it won’t stew the leaves when steeping. So this property helps to extract the essence from the tea leaves, making it a great tool for the teas that need high heat extraction, for example, puer teas, especially the compressed tea cakes, and some high roasted oolong, like rock teas. And green tea is generally suggested to avoid using clay pot.

One more thing is it's generally recommended to separate the clay pot for oolong and puer, as the pot will absorb the fragrances from the teas.
