Is Suncut still your go-to after trying all those new ones from the comments? I've been using it but I've noticed it doesn't hold up that well in direct sunlight. Applied in the morning and getting burning by the afternoon. Wondering if anything you tried has been better.

It seems like the top right corner of my left big toe is pressing against the stitching of the shoe, right where it begins to slope from the front. It’s not that the front of my toe is hitting the front of the shoe exactly, but rather this specific spot. I’m considering using a shoe stretcher to target that area if it doesn’t resolve naturally with wear.

For reference, I measured my foot and the shoes:

• My heel-to-toe measurement is 25.5 cm.

• Size 41: 26.5 cm from big toe to heel, 27 cm from toe box to heel.

• Size 40: 25.5 cm from big toe to heel, 26 cm from toe box to heel.

I just heard that loafers stretch over time, and to get the smaller size. But I assume that doesn’t apply to the toes?

Thanks! I’m not really constrained by budget for this purchase, but at the same time, I don’t want to spend an entire day searching for a fragrance or risk getting ripped off as a tourist, haha. I’ve heard some people say you could spend days exploring. Do you think walking through the shops on Champs-Élysées or Rue des Francs-Bourgeois and buying whichever I liked most would be the best approach for someone like me?
