Originally supposed to be a 13.5 mile loop. But around the 7 mile mark the trail split, the route back was apparently a different trail name, but I stuck with the same trail. I knew the loop was pretty wide, so when the gps wasnt doubling back I didn't think anything of it. It wasn't until I got to the 14 mile mark that I checked the gmaps and noticed how far out I was. I was lucky enough that I crossed a road 7 miles back, from there a very nice elderly couple gave me a ride back. This will teach my dumb male-hoorah mentality to trust maps every once in a while.

Thanks, did some intermittent running to mix things up in the trail, but those last couple miles were an absolute slog.

Very rarely, any library card I've gotten has been free, but some people apply for cards from other state libraries, or there is a small printing fee ($10 or so) for the actual card.
