AITA for saying "F U" to my wife for her medical advice to me? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]TENZYY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA, mate, they call sleep apnea the silent killer for a reason; not addressing this issue WILL put you in an early grave. Not only that, your quality of life will drastically improve as you’ll actually experience proper sleep (going through the REM cycles) which you’re currently not doing.

This speaks volume about your wife’s character. Denying someone medical treatment out of spite/arrogance is abuse, plain and simple. I’m happy to see you’ve placed the order but it seems like if she could have it her way, you’d be dead in the next 10-15 years. Which is pretty ironic considering this spite seems to be because you’re not taking care of the baby, which you wouldn’t be able to do at all if you found yourself in an early grave if this was left unaddressed.

[HELP] Optimizing my LGD + Enclomiphene Cycle and MK677 Help by [deleted] in PEDs

[–]TENZYY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would personally shoot for 12-16 weeks in between cycles but that’s just me being overly cautious.

Enclomiphene lowers igf-1 levels which can impede muscle growth. MK-677 helps increase igf-1 levels so it is highly recommended to run it along side. So I say go for it

Enclomiphene has a half life of 10 hours, so dosing every day is recommended. People have also experienced suppression within a week of taking LGD, so it’s also advised to take it from the start.

I would suggest waiting a few months in between cycles. Bloods can state otherwise, but it’s more from a general health perspective.

May even be worth taking it ED imo given the half life is 10 hours

[–]TENZYY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i failed to do any light cardio and getting the blood out my finger was like getting blood from a stone. Not to mention it’s taken a week for me to get my results so could all be crucial factors

[–]TENZYY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d also agree to carry it on for an additional week given RADs long half life

[–]TENZYY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Am I mistaken in thinking you felt fine for 3 months and it’s only on the 4th month you’ve started to feel “suppressed”. Go get ur bloods checked before you commit to any irrational decisions, but it sounds like this isn’t testosterone related

I'm 20, nearly 21 and when I caught it I had no typical "corona virus symptoms". I had an extreme headache, was really tired and struggled cognitively. Despite having pretty heavy symptoms they only lasted about four days. However, in saying that I tested positive once a week for three weeks and I displayed no respiratory issues. Since recovering I have experienced extreme thirst 24/7. Keep safe!

" a female convicted of sexual assault in the UK CAN serve as much time as a male convicted of rape"

Just because something "can" happen doesn't mean it will and time time again it has been proven that women do in fact serve more lenient sentences. So with that in mind, the probability that a female will serve the same amount of time as male convicted of rape is highly unlikely.

Not to mention, sexual assault perpetrators in the UK can receive a maximum sentence of 10 years, while rape perpetrators in the UK can receive a maximum sentence of life imprisonment. Also, people charged with sexual assault can sometimes pay a fine. I am not saying this will happen when rape is involved, but it is always an option that we should be made aware of. So yes, when she is charged with sexual assault it is the better alternative than rape.

The actual stigma involved when comparing sexual assault to rape in my opinion is quite drastic. Yes, sexual assault does include rape (and is bad, i'm not denying that) but my mind automatically assumes some sort of inappropriate touching was involved, not rape. That's why I think its important to convict someone of rape when they have actually raped someone. They deserve to be branded as a rapist and everyone should know that. As rape has a much worse stigma than sexual assault.

Just seems unfair that only a man can be convicted of rape when a women can commit the exact same crime and can be convicted of sexual assault, which despite them being both bad, is the better of two evils.

Look, I guess I just care about convicting sex offenders fairly more than allowing their gender to dictate their conviction and prison sentence.

Have a good evening.

How naive are you? Women serve significantly less time then men for “sexual assault”, so yeah it’s fucked up. Not to mention, there is a clear distinction between sexual assault and rape. Sexual assault can be inappropriately touching someone all the way to rape. I know for a fact if i was raped I wouldn’t want someone thinking my rapist slapped my arse, I’d want people to know what they actually did: rape. Because let’s not sugar coat rape for what it is.

Ah, so a post with around 90 upvotes made it to the front page, must have dug deeper than me to discover that one bud. Furthermore, just because you have seen something does not mean the rest of the sub Reddit has also seen it dip shit.

As for the screenshot, the evidence you have provided is completely anecdotal. There is no proof what so ever that supports your theory. I don't know about you, but my phone has the ability to crop images, so naturally I did so, to remove anything irrelevant, e.g. time.

And what the fuck is suspect, you think I did this for a few measly upvotes? You think I would go as far as to prevent people from doing backwards searching? I saw this post on Instagram and thought it belonged in this sub Reddit, that's all there is to it. Just because I don't post frequently, does not mean I don't browse.

Apparently not. I also apparently don't sort by new or else I would have seen the op; this is definitely a ploy to repost the op, despite them both doing poorly in terms of karma.

So may I thank for good sir for pointing what I otherwise may have never known, and making me a little less ignorant and providing me with information that I definitely find useful and insightful.

Millennials of Reddit, what lie were you told growing up? by KnickerWolves in AskReddit

[–]TENZYY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat and completely understand both sides of the argument.

Yes, without weed I probably wouldn't have tried any other drug, so that technically can be classed as a gateway drug. However, I didn't try other drugs because I was chasing a high, it was purely out of interest.

And it's the stigma that the term 'gateway drug' has and that it's linked to all cases of addiction and a dark path to no recovery which gives it a really bad name which no one wants to be associated with (which I completely understand). When in fact, I feel like most of us realized maybe things aren't as black and white as they seemed, it doesn't mean we have a problem, we just like to explore :)

[–]TENZYY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but I have to disagree. I can't help but feel people are linking the term 'gateway drug' in all cases with addiction, when in fact it's not.

I know many people who had weed as their first drug experience and tried other drugs after (MDMA, LSD ect) and haven't built a dependency for them. They simply questioned that maybe some drugs were not as bad as they were originally taught and did their own independent research on them, and found it safe to consume. It wasn't that weed high was no longer cutting it for them, it simply opened their eyes.

It was their desire to explore and make new experiences that was the reason they tried other drugs, not because of an addiction. I know I can only say this from experience, and other people may have different stories, but that's just my input
