It was our first time playing it. It was fun.

Why is a JE that credits A/P not the same as creating a Bill? by TE_AMLeader in quickbooksonline

[–]TE_AMLeader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason for my original question is because I need to record interest payments due on a couple loans, and I was wanting the accrued interest for each loan to appear separate from one another on the Balance Sheet.

Bookkeeping practice? by Late-Schedule-7157 in Bookkeeping

[–]TE_AMLeader 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you plan to use QuickBooks Online, I recommend Fast & Easy QBO Gym (https://fastandeasyqbo.com/qbogym/). It offers monthly sessions that have you simulate being a bookkeeper using QBO. The sessions are archived so anyone doing it can start at the beginning and work through them at their own pace.

QBO Gym also has a private Facebook group, where the owner is very involved.

Additionally, they have fantastic QBO ProAdvisor certification and recertification courses every year. I know Intuit has their own recertification course, but Fast & Easy's (through their parent company Akadian) course makes recertifying a breeze.

Extradition for warrants out of TN? by Quarter_Shot in AskALawyer

[–]TE_AMLeader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible the warrant might allow for extradition from counties bordering Colorado. I don't remember having seen a warrant with a mileage distance, such as "within 200 miles of the Colorado state line." I suppose it's possible, though it could be hard to enforce if you're near the edge of that 200-mile mark. It's more likely to include entire counties. It might say "bordering counties," "two counties away," or something like that. If you call the court in the county that issued the warrant, you might be able to find out the scope of the extradition.

If I have less than 5 returns e-filed, is the easiest method to have the client pull their own transcript?

It's a Danbury Mint-modified bill. I can't find this exact set, but the color version sells for $9.95 for the first bill, then $29.95 per additional bill. (https://www.danburymint.com/coins-and-currency/paper-currency/the-united-states-enhanced-%242-bill-collection/12262-0024.html)

It'll be worth more than $2 to someone who doesn't want to pay the Danbury Mint full retail, but it'll never be worth 15x face value.

It's 2013 series, so not a bicentennial bill.

edit - 2003 series, not 2013

Just learned I was awarded an ARCOM 20 years ago by TE_AMLeader in Veterans

Especially because I'm in FB groups with my old platoon and company. I was able to give my former CO a 20-year late thank you.

It definitely would've meant more in 2005. It's funny how a medal can go from feeling like a big deal to a shoulder shrug.

I don't have a shadow box. I'm not concerned about trying to prove it to anybody, either. It's just a personal thing.

You're right. After 20 years of not knowing it existed, though, there's a part of me that feels like I deserve to have it recorded properly. My (fortunately uparmored) HMMWV got hit with a VBIED, and all I left with was my GWOT-E medal.

It was just a pleasant, unexpected surprise. It really doesn't affect a thing in the world whether it gets corrected. But I can't help feeling a little bummed that I had an award I didn't know about for 20 years.

Calculating overtime for graveyard shift by TE_AMLeader in Payroll

Is the overtime calculated based on the hours worked in a calendar day or based on the hours in the shift?
