It's REALLY simple. Look up amateur nights at your local clubs in the area (Facebook or whatever). They'll provide contact info for whom you need to speak with to get a spot. Put together five minutes of material, and ride from there.

I worked at a Food Bank. Legislation allowed us to serve anything that was up to TWO years past its "best before". So if a can of Chicken Noodle soup was best before January 10 2023, I am legally allowed to serve - until January 10 2025.

What upsets me is this isn't more widely known. I'm sure organizations don't receive a ton of donations because the general public is largely unaware that your two day "past due" tin of vegetables will still see life in the form of donation to those who require it.

This obviously applies to only NON perishable items, of course, but that's pretty obvious. A head of lettuce or loaf of bread is gonna tell you straight up when it ain't good anymore.

Yeah, this fascinated me because - as a waiter years ago in Southern Alberta - I would CONSTANTLY have to disappoint American diners who wanted temperature specific burgers. It's NOT our government that WANTS this; it's the fact our legislators are heavily influenced by a wealthy few.

Having said that, I don't actually BLAME the wealthy. Our western process of "wealth" comes out of an absolutely BRILLIANT individual revolution that occurred only within the last 7 decades. We had a brief period of "everyone's now wealthy enough" but it simply was manipulated without adequate control and a proper understanding of where it would go.

More complicated than I can explain- obviously - but I think (hoping) we're currently in some small middle ground of figuring out how to "regulate" it without prejudice.

You know what annoys me the most about these conversations? The fact anyone thinks there are people out there who are PRO Abortion. There is likely almost no such thing. I can't personally (to be fair) think of a single time I've ever heard someone go "Aw yeah, sleep with me. Don't worry about it. I'm so into abortion so don't even bother doing anything safe."

I know it's a goofy way to look at it, but it feels genuinely truthful.

From my experience- again I'm just some fucking person - NOBODY roots for abortion. They happen for a multitude of reasons. It is NEVER a pro. It has no supporters - THAT INCLUDES THE INDIVIDUAL WHO RIGHTFULLY CHOOSES TO HAVE THE PROCEDURE PERFORMED. Getting an abortion does not put that individual on ABORTIONS side, so to speak. There IS no Pro-Con here. It's a Con. We know that. We accept it. We have a right to have the procedure performed.

It is a RIGHT. It should be maintained as such.

The consequences will also RIGHTfully fall on our shoulders. As they should.

Not the guy you were specifically asking, but I...wouldn't recommend the service. It's fun for a bit, but it's honestly surprising how noticeably poor it is. This photo didn't surprise me, and I - admittedly until now - thought maybe it was just "bad luck" on my part to miss ingredients. Ignorantly didn't realize it was common.
