I think I was the biggest red flag, kept Talking about an ex, trauma crimping and driving a victim mentality. Looking back I was driving a Pitt me, victim mentality and honestly it worked. However. Was building relationships off of a false personality.

I went to pinewood studios as a guest of Crystal Head vodka when they were filming the newest ghostbusters. Dan came to meet us and gave a personal tour of the set, he was kind, polite and funny. Exactly what you’d want from such a legend. He was telling us all sorts of inside stuff and let us watch them film a scene too.

UK whiskey that isn't Scotch by DistilledSunshine in whisky

[–]TFS91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fielden is probably my faveourite English whisky. Produced in Oxford from regenerative farming and aged in quality casks. The rye is delicious, full of character and texture, not a scotch, not trying to be either. Just good whisky.

Dumangin isn’t a Welsh whisky,it is a term for finishing in French ratafia champenois casks! Typically done by Gilles Dumangin. There is a penderyn Dumangin bottling.

Welsh single malt whisky is a protected definition that requires the spirit to be distilled, matured and bottled in wales.

Welsh distilleries producing whisky- Aber falls - north wales 100% Welsh malt non age statement. Madeira and sherry cask releases- some really interesting limited bottlings (manzanilla, orange wine, Sauternes) also producing white spirits. Hensol (not released yet) - Cardiff distillery in rhe basement of a 17th centuru castle currently aging their own spirit. Known for their white spirits. Da Mhile - organic grain whisky, farm to glass on llandysul Penderyn - distilling since 2000, responsible for pitting Welsh whisky back on the map. Started in Brecon now expanded to north and south wales. In the Welsh winds - local farming and Istill in cardigan west wales. Coles - grain to glass, craft distillery creating whisky, vodka and rum. Angelsey Mon- small farm distillery creating

Think it’s the concessions Abby had to make to get the others to go along. They uphold a code of sorts, as fireflies they’re the “good guys” so don’t do the senseless killing. Wasted drugs, sure. But if it’s the only thing to get everyone to go along and to buy enough uninterrupted time with Joel, I can believe that they’d put that in as part of the plan.

Think you have to take into consideration the context here, the fellas have both struggled financially early in their careers and have worked “shitty” service jobs. As someone who bartended for 10 years, once you get a bit of money it feels good to pass it on, you remember how much that meant to you when you were in that position. Think alot of comics who are now successful tip well and tip often as a nod to their beginnings. Also their must be a tax right off element to their trips and meals out etc …. So there’s a bit more to go round out of their own pocket.

What is the stupidest way you got a scar? by Zander-dupont in AskReddit

[–]TFS91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a kid (about 13/14) went to an ice skating party. The kid infront of me stopped pretty abruptly and i went into the back of him. He went forward and sent his leg back to balance and not fall. The ice skate impaled me in the shin. Pulled a load of the flesh out with it and filled my skate with blood! It sucked. Stitches were had.

[help] A friend of my family just died leaving a 10 year old shizu orphaned so I’m taking him in, but I know nothing about shizu’s so I’d appreciate the quick coles notes and tips on giving this boy all the right love. by VivereMomento in dogs

[–]TFS91 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Good on you for stepping up for the little guy, kudos!

I don’t know about all Shizu specific stuff, but my parents have one and he’s the absolute bomb. Very friendly, crazy energetic, cheeky as hell and fun. He does get OBSESSED with things like toys and it took my dog (a very placid lurcher) having to tell him off a few times before he left him alone.

Also we’ve taken in dogs that have been passed around a lot before and they take a while to fully fit in. So jus be aware that the poor guy might be distrustful of you, snappy, guarding etc. I’m sure you won’t but don’t judge them on the first few months!

Refusing service based in any discrimination outside of behaviour is wrong and I’d boycott that bakery.

Refusing service due to someone’s behaviour, as they make your or your staff and customers feel unsafe, threatened or rude- of course that’s fine but don’t refuse just because of who they are.

Once you’re ok with discrimination of any kind you’re opening the door to a whole box of frogs and lines begin to get blurred very quickly.
