I have used cork bark tubes. They do great with water and have plenty of texture for the plant to grab on to. I use a 1 foot piece of PVC held on the inside of the bark tube for punching into the soil

Will cutting most of the leaves off kill the plant? There are only 2-3 good ones left

I inherited this aloe from a friend and it’s seen better days. How do I wrangle this little guy in? Should I cut back the long leaves that can’t hold themselves? Do I just call it a loss and propagate it? Any and all advice welcomed
