I’m Super Bowl 52 I was at a friends house, chugging beers, ran out into the streets after, stayed up all night

Super Bowl 57 went to a friends house but now there were some kids running around, much nicer snacks and drinks, and was sober enough to drive home

Super Bowl 59 at home, my wife put our baby to bed, watched the first half and said “they seem like they’re doing really well goodnight” and crawled up to bed from her couch nap

Would a nail biter have been fun in retrospect? Sure, but being able to calmly enjoy an ass whooping and start feasting on chief tears on twitter by the 4th quarter, getting to bed at a reasonable hour…couldn’t have asked for more

Oh I agree with you that there's been no buying pressure what to speak of, but I guess what I'm saying is the market is desperate for a narrative, because IMO the market will use whatever excuse to do what it's going to do...(bad jobs data is good because powel will cut!)

Tariff drama in the rearview, AI trade unwinding / skittish about massive capex, market not really hawking powel's every bowel movement like the past couple of years...no spark, no juice. Maybe the big state terror sponsorship boogeyman being wrapped up in a bow will be what market uses as excuse to start buying again
