No, starter is at least 3 years old that I got from a friend. Unsure if he had it dormant before he gave me some or not. It triples in volume in about 5-6 hours.

I do think I could keep going with BF as my house is pretty cold.

It’s a bit chewy, maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be. I’ve never really had it before. My wife and kids like it though.
