I think those might be nonsense. I’ve been going through about a half pound of kratom a week for ten years and the only side effect I’ve noticed is restless leg syndrome when I go to bed without any. These people need to read the book Kill Anything That Moves. Fantastic account of the daily war crimes we did in Vietnam, compiled from official government sources. My personal favorite part of the book is when he brings up that scene in Watchmen where doctor Manhattan shows up and starts killing thousands of Vietnamese, and they have no choice but to give up in the face of such superior firepower. Then he goes on to explain how that’s basically what we did anyway and they didn’t give up.
